Picking the best tablet for you normally starts with choosing between an iPad or something running Android. If you’re already in the Apple ecosystem and own an iPhone or a Mac, the choice is pretty simple. Buying a new iPad can be expensive, which is why keeping an eye out for a discount is vital.

Right now there are some trade-in deals on the iPad Pro and a couple of discounts are available on the iPad Air, iPad Mini and the more entry-level 10th-gen iPad. With Amazon’s Big Spring Sale now underway, the deals keep getting even better.

We’ve found all the best deals available right now, and we’ll also be updating this list constantly to make sure that the most recent prices are shown. Be sure to check back later if you don’t see the price that’s right for you today.

Regardless of which iPad you want, we’ve found a couple of exciting deals. For example, if you go a generation back, the ninth-gen iPad can be had for as little as $249, whereas the latest 10th-gen iPad is on sale for $100 off. If you want the latest iPad Air, you’ll be happy to know there’s a $99 discount, bringing it down to $500. The 128GB iPad Pro M2 has a $50 discount on all storage sizes.

There’s a deal for everybody, so check out the sales below.

As iPad pricing continues to fluctuate, we’ll update this list with the best prices, so be sure to check back regularly.

The basic 10.2-inch iPad from 2021 is still good. While it doesn’t have the newer design and USB-C support of the rest of the iPad line, the value for performance here makes this iPad deal one worth getting for kids. It’s our top-budget iPad pick. Even at its full price, it’s affordable, but you can score one for less right now at Amazon if you get the 64GB model.

Apple’s newest iPad has a faster processor, a better landscape-centered camera for video chats, a larger screen and USB-C charging. You need an odd dongle to charge the Apple Pencil (and it lacks Pencil 2 support). The 64GB model lists for $449, and the 256GB model costs $599 at Apple. You can currently pick one up for just $350, but make sure to clip the on-screen coupon to get the best price.

The iPad Mini received a complete overhaul last year. The new design has rounded edges, thin bezels and no home button. The power button on the side now has Touch ID, and the Lightning port has been replaced by a USB-C charging port. This sixth-gen Mini runs on the A15 Bionic chip (same as the iPhone 13) and serves up an improved and slightly larger 8.3-inch display and better cameras than the older, fifth-gen Mini. You can save $99 on the 64GB model. As for the 256GB model, you can bag that for just $540 with the on-screen coupon.

The 10.9-inch iPad Air, released in 2022, has a fast M1 chip and an auto-zooming Center Stage front camera. Except for its display, it feels nearly like an iPad Pro. It’s our favorite midrange iPad model if the Pro seems too expensive.

Apple’s 11-inch iPad Pro is powered by the M2 chip and has a gorgeous Retina display. Stocks are hit-and-miss right now, as are deals. If you order from Best Buy, you’ll get up to $300 off when trading in your old tablet.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is the biggest iPad that Apple sells right now, but stocks are hard to come by, and deals are even more rare at the moment. If you order from Best Buy, you can at least save up to $425 when you trade in your old tablet.
