Standouts impress at the Rivals Combine Series in Los Angeles

DOTHAN, Ala. – More than 850 prospects showed up at the Rivals Combine Series Saturday at Dothan High School to compete and for a shot to return Sunday for the Izell Reese Football Camp. The prospects that showed up competed at a high level despite the cold weather and gusting winds making the most of their opportunity to be recognized.

Among the selections for Sunday’s camp were these five prospects that stood out during the day:

Floyd made the trek to Dothan from Lilburn (Ga.) to see how he tested and to try and boost his stock. The freaky prospect came in with a great attitude and tested well, living up to his 6-foot-7 now 270-pound billing. Floyd is already being recruited by programs such as Florida State, Ole Miss, Kentucky and Tennessee. He could still see his stock rise, and after the way he performed today, it’s easy to see why.

Highland Home (Ala.) has done a good job producing power five talent as of late and May seems to be another prospect that scouts should salivate over as he continues to develop his game. May came in with an attitude to work and a solid 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame, he has the ability to affect the game with his burst and aggressiveness. May already holds offers from Notre Dame, Tennessee, Penn State and Troy but you can expect if he builds on his sophomore campaign that he will be a name to know for the class of 2025.

Adams is still very raw but he’s starting to generate buzz based on his size coming off the edge defensively. Adams tested well on Saturday earning an invite to the camp Sunday where he’ll have a real opportunity to make a name for himself. Although early, Adams is definitely a prospect to watch in his class.

Keenan certainly looks the part, standing a looming 6-foot-3, 215 pounds heading into his junior season. There where times where Kennan could’ve easily been mistaken for a defensive end but he’s that physically impressive. Additionally, Kennan camped today, stayed late to get more work and will also camp tomorrow. Which simply speaks volumes about his character and work ethic; cooled have taken notice as he’s already earned offers from Alabama State and Marshall.

Fullbright really surprised with his performance. He ran well, was quick and showed explosiveness. Fullbright won’t wow you with his size but he makes up for it with his playmaking abilities garnering offers from Florida State, Georgia and Kentucky early on. Fullbright spent time in Terrell (Texas) earning the Texas 4A Offensive newcomer of the year award as a freshman but will have an opportunity to continue building on that at Wayne County (Ga.) this upcoming season. He may not be a household name yet but it’s certainly in the works.
