The agency is appointing two company veterans to new leadership positions

The Marsh McLennan Agency has announced two new national leadership appointments.
Denise Perlman was promoted to President of National Business Insurance, while Kate Moher was promoted to President of National Health and Employee Benefits.
Perlman will be based in Richmond, Virginia, while Moher will be based in Minneapolis. Both will report to Bill Jeatran, President of the Marsh McLennan Agency.
“With Kate and Denise at the helm, both practices have more than doubled their revenue,” Jeatran said. “Her unwavering commitment to innovation and keen ability to follow industry trends have earned the trust of our clients and colleagues alike. As they begin their new roles as leaders of our corporate insurance and employee health and benefits departments, we look forward to seeing their visionary leadership take our offerings to new heights.”
Perlman joined the company in 2018 as executive vice president of corporate insurance and national partnerships. In this role, she worked closely with Marsh McLennan’s operating businesses and the regional heads of the Marsh McLennan Agency to implement growth strategies for corporate insurance, the company said.
Moher joined the Marsh McLennan Agency in 2018 as the National Practice Manager for Employee Health and Benefits. In this role, she set the practice’s long- and short-term strategic direction for organic growth. She also worked with her colleagues at Marsh McLennan to drive innovation and execute key initiatives.
The promotions come at a time of growth for the Marsh McLennan Agency. In January, the company acquired HMS Insurance Associates, one of the country’s largest independent insurance agencies. In December, the company acquired Washington state-based McDonald Zaring Insurance.
