The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, one of the fastest growing private brokerage firms in the United States, has announced the formation of its National Complex Workers’ Compensation Practice Group.
The worker’s injury group is the first in a series of specialized practice groups to be formed later this year, Liberty said.
The group is led by Kirk Aguilera, Managing Partner at Liberty. Aguilera has 30 years of industry experience and expertise in all aspects of workers’ compensation, Liberty said.

Aguilera and his team have developed a customized implementation work product that adapts to each client’s unique requirements, Liberty said. For example, their process resulted in a closing rate of 785 claims in the accident year. The product has also reduced customers’ pure loss rates by up to 35% in the first year and loss severity rates by up to half the cost of previous years, even as claims incidence has increased.
The workers’ compensation team also has extensive experience serving mid-market clients across a range of industries including manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, security, healthcare, and restaurants and hospitality.
