Industry veteran joins the company after stints at Zurich and Allstate

AF Group has announced the appointment of Andrea Burns (pictured above) as Chief Underwriting Officer.
Prior to joining AF Group, Burns was a director and head of commercial real estate and liability product line management for Allstate Insurance. She was also regional product director for Encompass Insurance and vice president of sales and distribution for Zurich North America.
“Andrea’s appointment reflects our commitment to continue advancing our underwriting discipline, and we are delighted to have someone with such impressive experience join our leadership team,” said Lisa Corless, President and CEO of AF Group. “Her track record of building strong teams and her insights into the challenges and opportunities of underwriting will be of great value to our continued success.”
