Insurance coverage business gamers accomplice as much as launch new MGA

Griffin Highline Capital, HDI Global Specialty SE and industry veteran Craig Landi announced the creation of Falcon Risk Holdings, a managing general agency.

Falcon will initially focus on the underwriting and claims management of financial and cyber insurance businesses in the United States. Landi (pictured above), who has more than three decades of underwriting experience, will lead the company as CEO.

Falcon will offer a full range of insurance services. She will apply an analytical approach to underwriting and claims management and will leverage her longstanding brokerage relationships to promote her portfolio of management, professional liability and cyber liability products. HDI Global Specialty and its US subsidiaries will support MGA with strong underwriting capacity and an S&P A + rating and an AM Best A rating.

“I am excited to partner with Griffin Highline and HDI to create a leading financial lines and claims management insurance company,” said Landi. “Together we are committed to supporting the growth of Falcon and building a first-class team.”

“This MGA partnership with Griffin Highline gives us a great opportunity to bring a new and compelling proposition to the US market,” said Ralph Beutter, CEO of HDI Global Specialty SE. “We wish Craig and the rest of the Falcon team all the best in their efforts.”
