Nvidia – Nvidia shares up 19% in extended trading. The chipmaker issued a stronger-than-expected revenue guidance for the fiscal second quarter and also reported better sales and earnings in the fiscal first quarter. The stock has already more than doubled this year.
snowflake – Snowflake was down 11% after hours. According to StreetAccount, the cloud computing company issued a weaker-than-expected product revenue forecast for the second quarter. According to Refinitiv, Snowflake beat analysts’ earnings and revenue expectations for the first quarter.
American Eagle Outfitter – Shares plunged 15% after American Eagle Outfitters said it expected second-quarter sales to fall in the low-single digits, rather than up 1.6%, in line with Refinitiv consensus expectations. The apparel retailer reported a mixed quarter. Earnings per share were in line with estimates while revenue beat expectations.
Guess? – Shares rose 3% after the apparel company raised its dividend and raised its full-year earnings and sales guidance.
elf beauty – Shares of Elf Beauty soared 10% in extended trading. The cosmetics company reported earnings for the fourth fiscal quarter that beat expectations on both sales and earnings. The company reported adjusted earnings of 42 cents per share on sales of $187 million. Analysts polled by Refinitiv were expecting earnings of 20 cents a share on sales of $156 million.
